Your Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Stockport Family Children social care senior management team working together to make a real difference to the lives of children and families.
The Service Lead Residential and Support Services has the strategic lead for the development and delivery of Stockport’s children’s homes, supported accommodation and support services, such as edge of care and family time services.
The postholder will provide effective leadership of the workforce and operations, in a manner that delivers a good standard of quality care and support that best meets children and family’s needs working closely with locality teams and wider professionals.
The postholder will further provide ongoing leadership and development for the service that is creative and ambitious including the opening of new registered provisions and Ofsted compliance to deliver against the council’s sufficiency plan.

About You
We are seeking a highly motivated, creative and skilled service leader to join our leadership team to support our residential and support services to deliver outstanding care and support for our children.
You will be experienced in management and leadership in residential children’s and support settings and have a proven track record of delivering high quality services for children. You will join an experienced leadership team and be supported to lead and drive our plans to build our Stockport Families First (edge of Care) Service and Family Time team offers.
