The Finance & Strategy team leverages internal and external data to develop best-in-class metrics, tools, analysis, insights and reporting for many business functions. This team supports deal negotiation and strategy, guides prioritization efforts, and communicates the financial impact of key decisions across the company, partnering closely with the senior leadership of Netflix who depend heavily on the insights we provide to inform business decisions.
This exciting and challenging role will provide insight that supports the strategy for the Global Affairs team. The Global Affairs team helps business leaders understand and navigate regulations across every market Netflix operates, on topics ranging from cultural regulations, internet policy, privacy and data security, competition policy, intellectual property, commerce and payments, taxation, and economic incentives and content production. The role is based in London and will report to the Director, Finance & Strategy leading Global Affairs support globally.

Primary Responsibilities:Â

Understand Netflix’s business deeply to assess the impact of market-specific regulatory developments, partnering with global and local executives on issues impacting a broad range of functions

Quantify the financial impact of regulatory changes and providing input into broader company financial planning

Spearhead special projects for senior Netflix leaders with multiple cross-functional partners, developing recommendations and strategic frameworks to guide decision making and prioritization of key issues

Regularly communicate and present analyses and reports on regulatory impact in an easy-to-understand format to senior business leaders

Working cross-functionally with other Finance and Strategy teams globally and regionally
Qualifications:

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships with people across all levels and an present complex analyses to executives/senior management clearly and concisely

Significant experience (6+ years) in analytical roles - such as management or economic consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or an equivalent role

Advanced degree a plus
