Housekeeping Team Leader ID-1670

The main duties to include, but not limited to:

· To clean all floor surfaces, carpeted and non-carpeted.

· To dust and polish furniture, moving it periodically for this purpose.

· To clean toilets and baths, and equipment where necessary.

· To refill and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries, toilet rolls, paper towels, soaps etc when necessary.

· To carry out deep cleans.

· To undertake any duties in the laundry as required.

· To assist with catering and meal arrangements as required.

· To observe safe working practices at all time and avoid creating hazards around the home.

· To report any faulty equipment/maintenance requirements to a senior member of staff.

· To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested.

· To answer the front door, greet visitors and direct as appropriate.

· To be available to attend mandatory staff training and staff meetings.

· To oversee the ordering process

· To carry out the auditing/reviewing process

· To be up to date with the COSHH process

· To oversee that rooms are ready to receive new admissions

Salary: Excellent rates of pay dependent on experience.

· Understanding of Infection Prevention & Control and to adhere to this at all times.

Melrose Care Home does not have any on-site parking, however there is parking available on local streets.

• Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays Day shift 8am-12pm (plus alternate weekends)
• Tuesdays 7.30am-12.30pm
• Wednesdays 8am-2pm
• Must be availability to work weekends
