**Duties of the Role**

We require a part-time Engagement and Administrative Assistant to assist the Engagement Manager with activities including the organisation and delivery of student surveys, managing social media channels, as well as attendance at Arrivals and Recruitment days. This includes working outside of normal working hours, such as evenings and weekends, throughout the year. They will also assist the Admin and Allocations Team with administration tasks, such as answering student queries, allocating rooms, invoicing, and booking travel to help facilitate the delivery of a high-quality customer focused service. The role is located at the Colchester Campus and the post holder maybe expected to travel to other campuses.

**Skills and qualifications required**

You should be educated to GCSE Grade C in English and Maths and have a recognised qualification in Customer Services or relevant professional experience. You should have considerable experience in providing efficient customer service and administration within a busy environment and be confident dealing with people. You will also have experience of Data Protection, good IT skills, excellent team working, communication and organisational skills are essential. It is desirable for you to have had experience being involved in events and giving presentations.
